In 2010, Yuriy re-entered the academic sphere, joining LSE Cities and subsequently becoming Vice Dean of the HSE Department of Urban and Regional Planning, where he co-led the creation of Russia's first MSc programme in Urban Development and Planning. Today, his work with NOVAYA Labs extends to the UK, Russia, Eastern & Southern Africa, and is focused on digital transformation projects for the public sector and SaaS tools for property market specialists. Yuriy is a regular contributor to the city open data discussion and related themes of governance, risk and opportunity.
