He was born on August 2, 1970 in the city of Orenburg. In 1996, he graduated from the Moscow State Academy of Law. In 2005, he finished his post-graduate studies at the Saint Petersburg State University of Culture and Arts, he defended his thesis and was awarded a Ph.D. degree in pedagogy. In 2012, he defended his thesis for a Doctor’s degree in cultural studies at the Saint Petersburg State University of Culture and Arts He has been employed by museums of the Orenburg Region since 1993. He was employed by the Regional Museum of Local History for 15 years and has been at the head of the Orenburg Regional Museum of Fine Arts, the leading museum of fine arts in the South Urals region, since 2008. He is the author of over 50 academic papers on the problems of museum management, marketing, design in cultural institutions, social projects management, arrangement of fundraising activities.
In recent years, the museum expanded its premises and opened new departments: the Orenburg Down Shawls Gallery, Exhibition Hall, Museum of Sculpture. And in 2022, the first in Russia museum dedicated to the Rostropovichs was opened in Orenburg – The Memorial House of the Rostropovich Family. Nowadays, a lot of attention is paid by the museum to research, cultural and educational activities as well as inclusive programs in the museum.
