Literary links between the South Slavs and Russia, analysis of Slovenian prose and poems, the perception of Russian literature in Slovenian literature are among the central topics of her research.

Head of the Centre of Slavic cultures, member of the Programme Council of the Forum of Slavic cultures, coordinator of ‘One hundred Slavic novels’ project in Russia.

Translator, editor who led various projects, two of which won the international Ugra literary award and the Dositej Obradović award.
