Under Vasiliy Chekanov's guidance unique and high-tech construction projects were implemented, such as the Moscow Multifunctional Complex “Oruzheiny”, DPC-2 in the Skolkovo Innovation Centre, the President Plaza Business Centre and numerous social projects that can be used to study the geography of our country. He was awarded with the Certificate of Honor of the President of the Russian Federation for significant professional achievements, public activity and longstanding dedicated work.

Was born in 1980 in Moscow. In 2003 he graduated from the Moscow State Technological University “Stankin”, in 2007 — from the Financial Academy under the Government of the Russian Federation. In 2012 he took part in implementation of Olympic facilities such as Krasnaya Polyana Gorky Village in Sochi, for which he was awarded the Commendation Letter of the President of the Russian Federation for his achievements in preparing and holding the XXII Olympic Winter Games and the XI Paralympic Winter Games in Sochi in 2014. Since 2016 he has held the position of a Director of the Construction Department of PJSC Sberbank.
