Svetlana Kryuchkova

Actress, author and performer of poetry programs.
She was born in 1950 in Chisinau. In 1973, she graduated from the Nemirovich-Danchenko School-Studio at the M. Gorky Moscow Art Theater of the USSR. After graduating from the Studio School, she was invited to the leading Moscow theaters. Since 1973 — actress of the M. Gorky Moscow Art Theater of the USSR. Since 1975, she has been an actress at the M. Gorky Bolshoi Drama Theater (now — named after G. A. Tovstonogov), where she is working now.

People's Artist of Russia, twice winner of the Nika Prize.

Elocutionist, she performs with solo music and poetry concerts in Russia and abroad, accompanies the reading of poetry with stories about the fate and work of poets.
