Song Liquan is a Professor, Doctoral Supervisor, Representative of Chinese Musician Congress, Deputy Director of the Accordion Professional Academic Committee of National Normal Universities, Evaluation Expert for the Ministry of Education, Evaluation Expert for the National Art Science Planning Project, Director of the China Music Education Association, Chairman of the Normal Universities' Music Research Association of Heilongjiang Province.
He has been engaged in music education for over three decades. He is an expert in early childhood pedagogy and also an accomplished Professor in Heilongjiang province, a special allowance gainer for the provincial government, a provincial “Top Ten Literary Worker” and a judge for the International Accordion Competition.
He was conferred “Sino-Russian Cultural Exchange Outstanding Activity Award” by the National Duma Education Committee of the Russian Federation.
