Richard Ellis is a managing partner at MTM, one of Europe’s leading research and strategy consultancies. Focused on media, technology and the wider creative industries, MTM helps clients understand and respond to digitally-driven change, providing consumer research, strategic advice, and support on product and service development. Its client base includes Google, Facebook, Amazon, Sky, Comcast and the BBC. MTM won MRS’s prestigious best agency award in 2015 and 2018.
Since co-founding MTM in 2006, Richard has led major digital strategy and change projects across Europe’s arts and cultural sector, including the ground-breaking Digital Culture Study for Nesta and Arts Council England, which recently completed its fourth year. He has led major global arts and culture projects across the wider arts and culture sectors, including for Google, the BBC and National Gallery.
