One of the most outstanding representatives of modern calligraphy, the founder of a new art direction, called “Calligrafuturism”. Clients: Lamborghini, FENDI, Dries Van Noten, Nike, Pirelli, Adidas, NASDAQ, Comme Des Garçons, YSL, Alfa Bank, Yandex, etc.
Pokras combines the work on art projects with worldwide exhibitions, performances and street art festivals. He creates large-scale calligraphic compositions in urban environment and interior, constantly experimenting with forms and fonts. He works with its own alphabet, which is based on street art, design, typography and calligraphy of various cultures, generations and scripts. In recent years, he has been a member of street art projects, personal and group exhibitions in Russia, France, Germany, Italy, Portugal, China, South Korea and the UAE. His works are exclusively represented by one of the largest gallery networks in the world market OPERA Gallery Group. Originals of works are stored in private collections around the world. In 2015, Pokras Lampas created the largest calligraphy in the world on the roof of the Red October factory in Moscow measuring 1625 m2. Now, the work also remains the record largest calligraphy in Russia, it can be seen from the satellite or on the Google Maps relief. In 2017, Pokras created a large-scale painting on the roof of the Palace of Italian Civilization — Colosseo Quadrato/ Palazzo della Civiltà Italiana, which became the largest calligraphy in Italy (1250 m2). The project was supported by the FENDI fashion house, whose headquarters are located in the Palace. In 2018, collaborating with the New Tretyakov Gallery, Pokras created a 54-meter installation to support Vasily Vereshchagin Exhibition. The installation was presented within the framework of the “Museum Night” and opened the entrance to the museum from the embankment.
