Chief Human Resources Officer with the Museum of Modern Art (MoMA) located in New York. In this role, Odessa has prioritized the HR function to focus on enhancing managerial skills, staff engagement, benefit review and continued positive labor relations.

Odessa has an extensive career in human resources specializing in staff development, talent acquisitions, employee relations, compliance and labor relations and prior to joining MoMA, Odessa served as Director, People Team at Virgin America Airlines.

Odessa holds bachelor degrees in Psychology and Anthropology from the University of Missouri, a Master’s of Industrial & Labor Relations from Cornell University and a Juris Doctorate from NYU School of Law. Odessa worked as a practicing corporate lawyer before returning to Human Resources.

Odessa values Human Resources ability to enable leaders to become better managers and supporting staff in their development goals.

In her spare time, Odessa enjoys traveling, reading historical novels and spending time with her family.
