Marijke Smallegange

Head of digital marketing, communication and commerce, Rijksmuseum.
In 2018 she returned to the Rijksmuseum to lead the department digital marketing, communication and commerce.
Between 1997 and 2004 Marijke Smallegange (1969) started her marketing career at several FMCG’s and digital agency Lost Boys. Having worked at the Rijksmuseum from 2004 – 2008 she continued her career at ING as head of sponsoring, events and brand activation. Between 2011 and 2018 Smallegange has worked as an independent consultant and worked for a diverse range of national and international corporations including KLM Royal Dutch Airlines, Talpa radio, Aegon and Heineken.
