Leanne has spent 15 years inventing, incubating, installing creative concepts for future-facing living and fusing the established with progressive, youth-centric points. Spearheading experiential marketing and strategy for Nike at the iconic Room 72, Leanne directed and rolled out experiences worldwide within the Global Entertainment and Marketing team.
In 2015, Leanne co-founded, communeEAST with designer Richard Nicol bridging the gap between IRL and URL, forging solutions and activations in the worlds of AR and VR, directing live events, debates and strategic cultural partnerships.
Notable clients include: Condé Nast, Lexus, Samsung, Dazed, Adidas, Nike, Kenzo, British Council, Frieze Art Fair, The Selfridges Group, The V&A Museum, British Fashion Council.
In 2020, amidst the global pandemic, Cattytay and Leanne Elliott Young joined forces and launched the Institute of Digital Fashion; which pushing technology as a solution to not just sell more clothes, but to disrupt the way the system concepts, produces, creates, broadcasts, educates and demands.
Institute of Digital Fashion (IoDF) providing world-class immersive digital solutions, strategies and innovations, pushing for a more inclusive, sustainable and diverse IRL x URL reality. Through AR, VR, UX, digital try-ons, research papers and consultancy, IoDF delivers innovations that take the industry beyond its comfort zones, building 360 solutions.
