Her research interests lie in the area of Russian music history, including the heritage of M. P. Mussorgsky, N. A. Rimsky-Korsakov, and D. D. Shostakovich, issues of music textology and source studies.
Compiled and edited "The Chronicles of Life and Work of D. D. Shostakovich". Member of the editorial board of the Saint Petersburg Music Archive Series. Member of ISM International Society of Musicology.
