Jane Redlin studied ethnology and history in Berlin. In 2009 she earned a doctorate at the Institute of European Ethnology of the Humboldt University with a thesis on secular death rituals in the GDR. Jane Redlin is a scientific associate at the Museum of European Cultures — National Museums in Berlin and researches on themes of religion, ritual and symbolic culture. She has curated numerous exhibitions, some of which have focused on emotional environments.
