Ivan Savov was born on february 8th 1956 in Sofia. He graduated from the National Academy for Theatre and Film Arts in acting in 1982. In the theater, he participated in more than 40 productions such as Uncle Vanya, Hamlet, Blackbird, Romeo and Juliet, Thessaloniki conspirators, Platonov. He is now considered to be one of the most outstanding actors in the Bulgarian cinema.
