Hysni Ismaili was born in 1963 in Tetovo, where he completed his primary and secondary education. He graduated from the Faculty of Medicine in (1988) at the “Ss. Cyril and Methodius” University – Skopje, where he likewise finished his specialization.
Ismaili holds a Master’s Degree in Medical Sciences, in the field of rheumatology, and has completed his postgraduate studies in Tuzla, Bosnia and Herzegovina. Hysni Ismaili is a Doctor of Medical Sciences.
He worked as a professor at the Secondary Medical School in Tetovo. He was a family doctor and a medical specialist in Tetovo and was likewise an assistant professor at the Faculty of Medicine at the University of Tetovo.
In the 1990s he worked as a book editor, an editor of radio plays, organized the first book fair of private Albanian publishing houses, and likewise edited cultural radio shows. Ismaili is the editor and director of many documentary television shows in Albanian language and is one of the founders of the “Logos A” publishing house. He has participated in numerous activities in the field of culture in the Republic of North Macedonia.
Hysni Ismaili is the author of several expert and scientific papers in the field of medicine, and has likewise participated in a number of international and regional conferences.
He is fluent in Albanian, Macedonian, Turkish, Bosnian and English.
