Since 2010, he has been the head of the department of Russian Language and Literature at Selçuk University, Faculty of Literature. He has taught “History of Russian Literature”, “History of Russian Culture”, “Literature and Media”, “Russian-Turkish Translation”. He is also an author of books related Biography, Literature, Travel & Tourism.
“Dostoyevsky Biography” and “Istanbul in the Russian Literature”, “Dostoyevsky Letters” are his important works. Kandemir participated in the symposiums organized in memory of Dostoyevsky and also symposiums related Russian Literature.
