Günther Hasenkamp has been director of the Goethe-Institut in St Petersburg since 2017. He worked for the Goethe-Institut in Munich, Budapest, Moscow, Almaty, Cairo and Amman. Studies in Göttingen and Birmingham, doctorate in philology at the University of Hamburg. Selectd cultural projects and publications: "German-Russian Cultural Encounters 2004", "Arab Shorts.
