In the Netherlands, Gerdien Rabbers set up the national anti-stigma campaign on behalf of and in collaboration with MIND NL (the umbrella for service-users), GGZ Nederland (the umbrella for MH-institutions), NVvP (Dutch Association for Psychiatry)).
The campaign is now supported by the Ministry of Health and Welfare. Gerdien Rabbers was educated as a communication expert and studied social innovation and societal transformation at the Erasmus University (Rotterdam).
