In April 2016 she was appointed to the post of General Director of the Museum-Reserve "Tsaritsyno". In the Tsaritsyno Museum, under the leadership of Elizaveta Borisovna, the infrastructure of the museum and park areas is actively developing, exposition areas are expanding, and many large-scale exhibition projects have been implemented, including international ones, which were highly appreciated by both visitors and the professional community. For the second year in a row, the Tsaritsyno Museum-Reserve becomes the organizer and venue for the international Festival of Historical Gardens. The museum conducts scientific and methodological work, holds conferences and round tables devoted to the culture and art of the 18th century, the history of landscape gardening art, decorative and applied art of the 20th and 21st centuries, and new forms of educational events at the museum are being developed. Educational and entertainment programs are constantly held for children at Tsaritsyno, a children's museum camp is open during the holidays and a special space "Children's Museum" has been created.
Elizaveta Fokina is a recognized expert in the field of inclusion, special education and diagnostics for children with disabilities. Under her leadership, the Tsaritsyno Museum Reserve entered the program "Autism. Friendly environment" and hosted an exhibition of artists with disabilities "People must be different", which was accompanied by thematic conferences and round table discussions. Museum staff were trained to work with visitors with disabilities.
In 2018 Elizaveta Fokina received thanks from the mayor of the capital, Sergei Sobyanin, for fruitful work in the field of Moscow culture.
