Elena Gorenko

Was born on May 7, 1981 in the town of Mytishchi of Moscow Region. In 1996, "School Novel Newspaper" magazine published the verses of 15-year-old Alyona, and Valentina Korostyleva, who was her tutoress at the literary studio, wrote a very hearty comment on the young author. Since she was 15, she started being published in such periodicals as "Glagol" newspaper (a weekly supplement to "Moskovskij Komsomolets" newspaper) and "Senezh" newspaper. After leaving school she entered Lomonosov Moscow State University, just as Alyona's grandfather, who was constructing the university building on Vorobyovy Gory, dreamt. At the end of the first year of study she started working at "Stolitsa" TV channel, having become the youngest news presenter. In 2003, she graduated from the television department of MSU Faculty of Journalism, having defended the thesis on the subject "TV Journalist Ethics", and in 2010 — the Boris Shchukin Theatre Institute. In 2003, Gorenko and her friends created and started shooting "Travelling with Taste" program for "DTV-Viasat", where Alyona acted as a hostess and a correspondent, and were collaborating in making a tourist rubric on "М1". For two years she has worked on "Rossiya" TV channel as an editor and later hosted "Star City. Beginning" program on "Zvezda" TV channel. Since August 2006, she has been working as a news presenter of "Sobytiya" program on "TV Tsentr" channel. From February 2010 to August 2015, she was hosting the morning news and "Nastroenie" informative show on the same channel. In 2013, Alyona worked on "KKhL-TV" channel, where she prepared a cycle of interviews on hockey with show business celebrities for "13" project. Since May 2015, she has hosted a range of projects on "Tsargrad" TV channel. In December 2017, she became employed with "Spas" TV channel.
