Eeva-Liisa Pelkonen is an assistant professor at the Yale School of Architecture, where she teaches design, history, and theory of architecture.

Pelkonen holds a master’s degree from Tampere University of Technology, Finland, a doctoratein medicine from Yale University, and a Ph.D. from Columbia University.

Her scientific work focuses on twentieth-century European and American architecture with an interest in the genesis and significance of architectural forms in various national and historical contexts.
