Garayusifli Aziz Yashar ogly — Honored Artist of Azerbaijan, Director of the Qara Qarayev Central School of Art (City of Baku, Azerbaijan).
Born in Baku, he graduated from the Azerbaijan State Conservatory, and became laureate of Republican and International Competitions. From 1990 to the present time has been serving as soloist of the Symphonic Orchestra of Magomaev Azerbaijan State Philharmonic Society, Associate Professor of the Baku Music Academy.
Participant of international and All-Russian research-to-practice conferences, roundtable discussions and forums, member of judge panels of international competitions.
Authored a number of articles and publications on the topic of developing the music education system.
The Qara Qarayev Central School of Arts, led by A. Garayusifli since 2016, has won the grant of the Interstate Foundation of Humanitarian Cooperation of CIS member states, participant in many international educational programs implemented in cooperation with lyceums, schools of art, music schools of European countries and CIS countries.
