Anna Mikhaylova

Analyst, Museum and Tourism Development Department, Mosgortur State Autonomous Institution of Culture.
PhD, an expert in digital communications for museums. A graduate of St. Petersburg State University and the School of Museum Studies at the University of Leicester (UK), she underwent professional retraining at the Harvard Extension School. She has been working in the museum field since 2010.

Professional experience: The Peterhof State Museum-Reserve (St. Petersburg), the Peter the Great Museum of Anthropology and Ethnography (the Kunstkamera) RAS, the State Historical Museum. Since 2012, he has been managing the Ideas for Museums project. From 2015 to 2017, she was the curator of the Museum in the Digital Age course at the Higher School of Economics. Since 2016, she has been the host of webinars for the Kultura.RF.PRO project (the Ministry of Culture) dedicated to promotion on social networks. At present, she is an analyst in the Department of Museum and Tourist Development of GAUK MOSGORTUR. Anna is the creator and host of professional communities on social networks: Ideas for Museums, Museums on Social Networks, Children in the Museum, Drinking about Museums, and Museum Club, the total audience of which reaches 6,000 thousand people.

She is one of the authors of the book Museum in the Digital Age: Reboot, also the editor of the book BIM for Cultural Heritage. Over the years, she has hosted over 30 seminars on the topic of Internet communications in museums. She provides individual counseling to museum heads and specialists in museum promotion on social networks. She brought the informal meeting of museum employees #drinkingaboutmuseums, which has gained great popularity in recent years, to the Russian soil.
