Russian cellist, composer, conductor, and entrepreneur. Graduated from the Gnesin Russian Academy of Music, then from the Moscow Conservatory. Winner of international competitions in Prague, Vienna, and St. Petersburg. He made recordings on the British record label Olympia Records, the Swiss record label Pan Classics and the Russian record label Melodia with the Moscow Quartet and later the New Russian Quartet.

He wrote soundtracks for various movies, including: "Fathers and Sons" and "2 Days" (directed by A.Smirnova). For ten years, he was a soloist of the chamber orchestra "Moscow Virtuosi", later he began working as Vice President of Business Development at Enhanced Spectrometry Inc. and Terasense Inc. In 2015, Alexey co-founded the Way2Art.club recommendation and educational service, which evolved into the Auftakt.akademy project. These projects, supported by the Moscow Philharmonic and the Presidential Grants Fund, aim to popularize art. Alexei continues his educational work as the host of the "Historical Concerts" program on the "Culture" TV channel.


Since 2018, Alexey Steblev has been the head of the company RDI.digital, an international creative integrator of digital solutions that have implemented such projects as CultTech Labs in Moscow, St. Petersburg, and Vienna, My Tretyakov (together with the State Tretyakov Gallery), vc_on (together with the viennacontemporary fair), Summer Exhibition (together with the AFF and musicAeterna), IF Innovation Award (together with the association Immaterial Future, Austria).
