Alexander is known nation-wide as the number one expert in complicated divorces. Although in total his law firm carried out over 1200 divorce proceedings only, while they married (by dint of marriage contracts) about 4500 couples.
Senior partner of the Moscow "Dobrovinsky and Partners" law firm. Educational background: Law and Economics. Candidate of Legal Sciences. Apart from that, he has the INSEAD business school in France under his belt. He is decorated with the Order of the Star of Italian Solidarity (being awarded by the President, it is one of the most valuable orders of the state) for a discovery in the field of cultural studies of the 20th century. Indeed, he assembled a collection of so-called 'red icons', or 'agitlak', systematized it, then wrote a book on the subject (and published it both in Russian and English) that proved a revelation in the history and culture of the past century. Later he made yet another discovery, agitational mammoth ivory. His first monograph based on his private collection was published in 2016. He authored a number of books including "Dobrovinsky Gallery". Owns a collection of china. It was on view in five halls of the Pushkin State Museum of Fine Arts for half a year, from 1996 to 1997. In the aggregate, the entire collection comprises 22 different subsets, or, in the language of museum workers, over 40 000 individual repository items. Currently he gives lectures and seminars. Lawyer, collector, writer, essayist, radio host, husband, father, golfer, movie actor, philanthropist, and adventurer, gourmet and dandy, and now the Dean of the Law Department to boot. A Muscovite in the second generation, with the Odessa roots, although for many years he was living abroad, namely in Paris and Saint-Tropez, in New York, Luxembourg, and Geneva. He is fluent in several European languages, but, more importantly, he is well-versed in the culture of each country he has been living in. His recent passion projects: Soviet Cinema and Advertising posters of the 1920-1930s; Studies of the Lyubov Orlova's and Grigori Aleksandrov's personal archive, creating a private museum dedicated to their life and work.
