The names of the winners have been announced on November 11 at the ceremony of awarding the All-Russian "Culture Online" Prize. The event was held in St. Petersburg, at the Manezh Central Exhibition Hall. The online broadcast was conducted on the official website and social media resources of the St. Petersburg International Cultural Forum, at the platform of Culture.rf and on the website of the TV channel "Saint Petersbur".
235 entries have been considered by the Expert Panel that is comprised of the figures of national culture and members of the media. From all the entries, a shortlist of 25 was compiled. The projects have been split into the following nominations: "Best Online Project", "Online Breakthrough", "Integration of IT and Culture", "Best Online Platform", and "Best Online SMM-Campaign".
Geographically, the participants of the competition represented 43 regions of the Russian Federation and beyond.
Opening the ceremony, Head of the Expert Panel, State Secretary — Deputy Minister of Culture of the Russian Federation Alla Manilova accentuated both the quality and the variety of the projects presented, as well as the applicants' zeal:
"Honestly, such high interest was a pleasant surprise for us. All submitted works are fascinating, colourful, each in its own way original and deserves attention. The format is much varied as well: virtual tours, workshops, films, broadcasts of concerts and performances, exhibitions from museum reserves. The public has got a unique opportunity to see what is usually available only to experts. Many projects are materialized using AR tools. Owing to ingenuity and creative approach, the organizers were able to retain their audience and expand it significantly".

Taking into account the vast number of projects dedicated to the 75th Anniversary of Victory in the Great Patriotic War, the Expert Panel announced yet another nomination, "Special Jury Prize".
This "Special Jury Prize" was given to:
Performance of the song "Victory Day" by a combined group of 1000 young musicians under the direction of Yuri Bashmet, timed to the 75th Anniversary of Victory in the Great Patriotic War, Russian Concert Agency and "Russian Culture Fund".
"Tales in the Bomb Shelter: Chronicles of Kindergartens and Schools of Sieged Leningrad'", TASS.
One other "Special Jury Prize" for creative and extravagant approach to coverage of cultural events, as well as to drawing the audience's attention to cultural heritage and traditions was awarded to the digital project "Culture of Yaroslavia" presented by Educational, Methodical and Media Centre of Cultural and Art Workers of the Yaroslavl Oblast.
