History
The VIII Saint Petersburg International Cultural Forum took place on November 14-16, 2019. The program of the Forum included 415 events that took place on 95 different venues.
The General Staff Building of the State Hermitage traditionally served as the Main Venue of the Forum. The Business Venue operated in the Russian Museum of Ethnography, and the Open Lectures “Culture 2.0” took place in the Manege Central Exhibition Hall.


Cultural Codes in the Context of Globalization

In the context of rapid globalization, national cultural codes allow supporting the identity of each nation, and creating a new cultural reality at the same time to bring together diversity and uniqueness, with universal values and humanistic ideas at its foundation. Study of new cultural codes of the present-day society gives a key to understanding what future is in store for us.
The VII Saint Petersburg International Cultural Forum took place on November 15-17, 2018. The Forum’s program included 415 events that were hosted by 163 venues of the city.
The General Staff Building of the State Hermitage once again served as the Main Venue of the Forum. The Business Venue operated at the Russian Museum of Ethnography, and the Open Lectures Culture 2.0 took place in the Manege Central Exhibition Hall.


Culture as the Country’s Strategic Potential’

The Saint Petersburg International Cultural Forum synthesizes all trends, thus forming a uniform approach to culture and art perception and giving a new impetus to the development of culture initiatives.
The VI St. Petersburg International Cultural Forum took place on November 16-17, 2017. The Forum program included 454 events. The total number of event venues was 179.
As usual, for a few days the Forum spread over almost every cultural venue of Saint Petersburg. The General Staff Building of the State Hermitage served as the main venue of the Forum. The Business Venue was located in the Russian Museum of Ethnography.
