The project is directed to facilitation of public access, promotion and preservation of folk arts and crafts both in Russia and abroad as well as integration of crafts into modern life, culture and fashion.
The November 13 program includes:
- 10:00–11:30 Panel discussion "Youth in creative industries: starting opportunities, development zones, support measures".
- 11:30–17: 30 VII All-Russian National Scientific and Practical Conference "Souvenir Image, Sign and Symbol".
- 13:30–16:30 Fashion show of products made using techniques of folk art crafts "Laboratory for the young". Student fashion show — the St. Petersburg State Academy of Arts and Design n.a. A. L. Stieglitz with the participation of representatives of St. Petersburg, Mordovia, Nizhny Novgorod, Nizhny Novgorod region.
- 16:00–17:30 Round table: "Ornament in folk art — historical and contemporary cultural codes. Integration of Russian style elements into modern design".
- 11:00–18:00 Exhibition special project "Unique Russia". The exhibition will feature photographic projects, products of folk art and crafts, ornamental art, jewelry and Orthodox art, painting, sculpture, architecture and interiors, etc.
- 18:30–19:20 Closing Ceremony of the V Anniversary St. Petersburg International Craft Congress.
