An application for setting the record of "The Longest Poetic Online Marathon"!

The living poets writing in Russian and living in various cities of Russia, Europe and Asia recite their own poems in the online mode. 36 hours non-stop with participation of more than 200 poets — regardless of the borders, nationality and confession. The marathon motto is "Poetry can and should unite people!".

Prehistory: The poetic online marathon was held in Russian on June 27–28, 2020. The contemporary poets were reciting their own poems in the online mode during 24 hours. The main broadcasting studio was in Moscow library 76 named after Mikhail Lermontov. Poets from Belgorod, St. Petersburg, Kursk, Vladivostok, Rostov-on Don, Elista, Tver, Ekaterinburg, Nakhodka, Samara, Nizhny Novgorod, Vladimir Region, Yuzhnosakhalinsk, Balashikha, Cheboksary and the Crimea joined the marathon by way of the TV link-up. 151 poets have taken part in the marathon. The age of the youngest poet was 19, of the oldest — 50.

The commission of the Russian Record Book has officially recognized the application for setting the record of "The Longest Poetic Online Marathon" — 24 hours non-stop with participation of 151 poets!
