Old Russian Singing Art: Practical Monophonic and Polyphonic Singing

The workshop will focus on monophonic and polyphonic professional singing traditions of the 17th−18th centuries; participants: Znamenie Ensemble of Ancient Russian Music of Saint Petersburg Conservatory, vocal ensembles from Saint Petersburg and Leningrad Region, managers of leading Russian song groups, working on reviving the tradition of ancient Russian singing.
