The Festival will take place for two days during the Forum.
Day 1. The Festival was born in the St. Petersburg State University of Film and Television. During 19 years of its existence it has become well-known in Saint Petersburg, in Russia and in the world. Winning films of PiterKiT entered the Russian and international cinema arenas multiple times and became winners of various festivals. PiterKiT has become a venue of most different initiatives, a start of new creative projects, a place for the youth involved in cinema activities to meet. Works created in the framework of the educational process by students of Russian and foreign cinema schools are included in competitive programs.
Young film makers will compete for prizes and diplomas in the following nominations: Grand Prix of the Festival, the Prize for the Best Film of the St. Petersburg School of Cinematography, the Prize for the Best Documentary, the Prize for the Best Feature Film, the Prize for the Best Animated Film, the Prize for the Best Television Film, the Prize for the Best Direction, the Prize for the Best Cinematography, the Prize for the Best Sound Production, the Prize for the Best Producer, the Prize for the Best Film of a Foreign Film School, the Prize of the Screenplay Jury for the Best Screenplay, the Prize for the Best Student Acting, a Special Prize for the Best Acting Debut of the Name of the Founder of the Festival Viktor Semenyuk, the E. Rozovsky Special Prize “White Sun”. The Festival will continue its work until November 19, 2019.
