Live Sound: Prospects for Authentic Folk Performance

What is "live" sound, "live voice" of folk music today? How is the true sound of a traditional song or tune included in the cultural space of a modern city?

At the master class, it is planned to discuss the methods of mastering and reviving folk singing and instrumental traditions in their authentic form, the issues of significance, relevance, and prospects for the development of folklore performance. The event will feature the experience of implementing projects for preserving n and updating the traditional folk culture in its original form implemented in off-line and on-line formats. Folk songs and tunes recorded in folklore and ethnographic expeditions in different regions of Russia and neighboring countries will be performed.
