An exceptional role of a contemporary Museum is related to its ability to transform the urban environment. Influential museums, both foreign and domestic, being magnets of attraction, “splash out” far beyond their own walls into the urban environment. They set the cultural and aesthetic code of the space around them, which has to adjust in every way to meet the needs of the society in leisure, in useful and attractive pastime, in transport accessibility, and in the ever–increasing requirements for comfortable stay. Contemporary Museums serve as true drivers of urban development.
